Go-Ahead Singapore deployments

Post by Tan_CJ »

It seems that GA-S does not have a fixed deployment for most of their buses. One hypothesis is that, this was done on purpose to spread the bus wear and tear, since different services will strain the buses differently. They probably have a random generator to generate bus deployments every day. This is a good tactic. What do your think?

You are right on tt

GASG buses have an A4 card placed on the bus windscreen, sometimes portrait, at times thrown about(mostly DDs)

If look carefully, top left hand corner (facing you) will indicate bus type

SD, DD
some have add on behind
ie
SDEN, DDEN still tryin to figure tt out, Extra Nxxx

On the top right hand corner(facing you)
There are diff days indication
M-T
F
Sat
Eve
PH

seen it regularly on 2, 12, 15, 36, 43

Most of the A22 now serve Punggol service with 2-3 units at Pasir Ris..SG1720 for now always serve 518 during weekdays.
