SVC 176 on ADL Enviro 500 MMC Batch 1(SMB5047T)

LIVESTREAM STARTED AT 0845, BUKIT PANJANG INTERCHANGE
Being a medium-demand route, especially on weekends, 176 only has the occasional DD(Enviro 500, B9TL, rarely a MAN A95) or bendy(O405G, rarely a MAN A24) on weekends, so Im lucky enough to catch an Enviro 500 for today's livestream. As of Cashew Station(BS43109) the bus is starting to fill up, the upper deck has few people but might get progressively crowded over time. We shall see.

SMB5047T is starting to fill up now, the seats on the lower deck are almost fully occupied(as far as I can see), the upper deck is about 1/3 full

Bus bunching has been observed on 174 heading towards Kampong Bahru Interchange, a Scania K230UB is followed very closely behind by a B9TL WEG 2

Bus has actually emptied considerably, upper deck is less than 1/8 full, with the lower deck having a similar situation

A small crowd boarded SMB5047T, but upper deck is still considerably empty, lower deck approx. half full

SMB5047T is still very empty, upper deck has hardly anyone at all while lower deck has more passengers, but plenty of seats.

Bus is travelling slower now, likely to keep within its schedule

SMB5047T is observed to not stop at this bus stop, by now the bus is still very empty.

By the time the bus pulled into Bukit Merah Interchange, only less than 10 passengerd in total were left on the bus.

The following buses were observed on the roads operating on 176:

• 5 ADL Enviro 500s(Including SMB5047T)
• 4 MAN NL323F(A22s)
• 2 Volvo B9TLs(WEG2-bodied)

1h journey. Apparently the deployment of the double-deck at this slot might be redundant, since the bus is mostly empty throughout the trip
