SG-plated Citaros

Which is your favourite bus model? Do you like/hate any particular bus? Prefer a gearbox/door/chair type over another? Feel free to share it here.

SG-plated Citaros

Post by Tan_CJ »

Does any of you feel that the SG-plated Citatos are smoother and seems to have more power (probably not de-tuned)? Was on SG1133G on service 138.

Took a SG-plated Citaro yesterday, on service 138. The acceleration does not seems to be one coming out of a de-tuned engine (I might be wrong though). Shall continue to observe.

All LTA buses have gone through detuned especially for the first gear in Voith and 1st/2nd gear for ZF 6 speed..Most probably the BC start to floor after first gear.Powerful Citaros should be the SMRT ZF ones
