Here are the timings and places that SG5999Z is at, hopefully this information is useful for those who want to try the bus!

For those who prefer to hunt at Clementi(BS 17009), do note that the bus will pull in at around 1620 hours, to depart for Bedok at around 1640-45 hours as SVC 7. Hope this helps!

This information is taken from when I hunted this bus on 16/6/2018

P.S. as the trial might be ending soon, do not miss the opportunity to catch this bus in action before it is taken off the roads!

Saw this bus while walking past BNDEP at 1530 today, parked beside another bus (can't remember which double deck model, should be a B9TL). This means SG5999Z only operates during peak hours on weekdays.

1640(weekends)

5999Z is seen along Sims Ave(Eunos MRT) around 0725h

Return trip as 7A at Guillemard Rd(City Plaza) 0830h

Just curious, which direction is SG5999Z heading to when it was seen along Sims Ave? Would like to hunt for it again

Yes, looking forward to these new buses as well! Also quite eager to see how the new MAN 3 door buses will look like. Heard the 3rd door will be behind the rear axle instead, making SG5999Z a very unique bus.
