This route runs almost parallel to the EW line.

With GA SG taking over the NE sector, partial Changi route group, sv2 has permutations appearing , eg 2A.

Through correspondences with LTA, 2A is to support EW line during upgrading works conducted on the EW line similar to 7A, 7B, 12e, 147e.

With a few runs in the morning using dds and arriving close to its parent, its a waste of resources.

On site observations show less than 1/8 of the dd filled, given sv2 has an improved frequency.

2A if I am not wrong, switches as to sv2 for its city bound trip after Tanah Merah MRT.

s2A operates from Kg Bahru ter till Tanah Merah MRT stn. so it should be more suitable for evening peak. how come it also run in the mornings? Along the roads parallel to EW MRT line, there are still other alternative services to take.

Introduce 2M Changi Village looping @ Jln Turi with 2 SD & 3 DD frequency of 12 mins peak and 18 mins off peak.
